A Fun Wednesday

It started out like any other Wednesday.I arrived at school at 7am and went for assembly. After assembly,we had Literature. It was about doing a short dramatization of a poem. The class was split into groups and sure enough, some copying ensued. My group was one of the first, and we watched as the other groups did the same thing over and over again.

Well, you can't blame us!That poem was boring and impossible to work with!P.E. period followed which raised our hopes when we caught sight of the soccer balls. One person suggested that we run 2.4km like we did last week, but that notion was quickly silenced by many of the glares we sent his way.

P.E was well worth the wait,as we all had a chance to play in the match!Although my team lost,I think that we had played our best without some key players. Many of us were waiting for P.E. to end after our matches as after that is was recess!

We borrowed a ball immediately and played our recess away.Wow!1 and a 1/2 hours of close to non-stop football can take it's toll on you.The period end bell rang and we trudged our way up to class again.

It was History now.Although the subject is widely boring to me,the class teacher actually makes it mildly interesting. We watched some videos for the whole period and then went for a short mother tongue period. After that, the school day ended with chemistry where we did a short paper and then chatted the remaining time away with friends.

That was a really relaxed but fun Wednesday!

Kite Flying Over The Weekend

It was on the Sunday of the week,it was a fine morning. It was just perfect to fly a kite. This was a suggestion from my father,so naturally I had no choice but to agree.I could think of many things I would rather do during the short drive to East Coast Park, but none were put into effect.

My family and I gathered our things and proceeded to a clear area to prepare.I had never been kite flying before in my life,so I was amazed to see how adapt my parents were at preparing the kite.Soon,we began to fly them.I watched as both my mother and father took turns flying the kite.Even my older brother tried his hand at it!Unsuccessfully,I might add.

Seeing that neither I nor my brother were showing any enthusiasm,my father decided to teach us how to fly the kites.Reluctantly we got up and with our parents aid, learned gradually. Some time passed and soon my brother and I were beginner-kite-flyers.

Suddenly,it all seemed more fun and time passed like it was in fast-forward.When,it was time to leave,I felt sad as I had learned something new that day.I hope to go kite-flying with my family soon, but that may be some time away.Oh well!

One Of The WORST trainings in the history of my CCA!

My CCA(Co-Curricular Activity) is NCC land.It has been for a year now,but in all that time, this has got to be the worst training I have ever attended. Now I'll recount why this is so.

Last Friday,it was training again after school,we,cadets, were half hoping it would be a half-hearted training, as we did not have to wear our stupid uniforms and the secondary threes were taking us instead of the fours. How wrong we were!

It started off fine, with us doing a few physical training exercises. The secondary threes were about to end the exercises and let us play football when it started raining...

Then,it slowly started to get worse.Lame jokes ensued from both us and them until finally the secondary fours were released after a test. This livened up the mood considerably in the time the downpour slowed to a trickle. We were about to go down to play football again when,by some weird reasons, the secondary fours decided that we ought to have done more physical training and called running together a bonding game!

Finally, the training ended much to the relief of many.I rushed home immediately only to stop abruptly at my front door and sneeze!I had obtained a cold...What a dreary day!

My Thoughts on blogging

Blogging is something new and difficult to grasp for me.Yet,I find it strangely addictive.Blogging is the English project for me this year and I only have a limited knowledge of what it can be used for.

Here, are my thoughts on blogging,I would be glad of your thoughts as well on this subject. To me,blogging is not for everyone, some might prefer things more personal such as diaries,or journals. To those wishing for others to hear their views on topics, relatively tend to use blogs to do so rather than diaries.

Blogging also requires some time to do so as,people tend to think about what to blog about before doing so.Personally,I find blogging quite boring though I am sure others think otherwise. Thus,my opinion on blogging is that blogging is not for everyone, but for those who like to express themselves quite openly might like the concept.
